Levy University for School Administrators is brought to you by the Support Ohio Schools Research and Education Foundation. Participants will learn the strategies for school district levy success, including the Do’s and Don’ts’s for school official levy campaign involvement based on the recent guidance letter from the Auditor of State.

This three-hour workshop will cover research based strategies and tactics along with the critical role school district leaderships has during a campaign.

Areas of Focus in the Training:

· How to reach out and engage key community leaders and groups.

· Knowing and understanding the need and value of voter modeling and targeting along with how this is applied in a levy campaign.

· Building a levy campaign that has involvement by community members and employees who work together to create a winning campaign.

· The role that school leadership plays in forming the structure of a levy campaign.

· Creating a robust fund-raising plan that budgets expenditures on the tactics that effectively informs voters about the need and importance of passing a levy.

· Designing and launching a campaign communications plan that moves voters to support the levy.
